Find Your Family Camping
Family Camping opens up a whole new opportunity for you as a parent to enjoy some real quality time with your kids, their are numerous activities that you can participate in or just hang out and relax.
Life throws lots of distraction at us every day so find some time to make some special memories . I myself work over fifty hours a week in retail and have some days I do not even see my kids, this is why I personally love camping so much because it allows us to spend family time away from the day to day activities.
How much Nature do you like?The wonderful part of this activity is you control all the details so if tent camping is not for you,No problem! You can rent a cabin or stay in an RV and still enjoy nature. I have had some instances that made me want to pack up and go home ,how ever I stayed with it and ended up having a great time.
I would suggest even if you tried camping as a kid and didn't like, try it out as an adult you may find it a lot different with a different point of view. No where else can you find a place so peaceful that you can just relax in a chair and enjoy all the beauty nature has to offer.
Need to save MONEYCamping by far is one of the cheapest vacations you can plan because
easily the best advantage here is cost, most state campgrounds will rent a site for between $15 and $30 dollars a night for a site, this leaves some budget for day trips or actually going out to eat at a nice place.No matter where you live the price of gas is starting to go crazy again, so staying local and camping in a state campground could be a way to save money.
My family simply just can not afford anything extra this year with the price of every thing skyrocketing so I am glad we camp!
Tenting not a option? Try a RV insteadRecently we have added a section dedicated to Rv's and their accessories Right this moment people are living the American Dream by full timing it with a RV. Most of us don't realize how much we are missing by working the day to day life style instead of seeing all this wonderful country has to offer.
Help and be helpedThe best part about camping is how friendly and helpful people are to each other, I have started a camping Forum to help people share ideas. I invite you to post a message or ask a question.
Believe me you will get far more out of family camping than you put in simply because if nothing else you get to spend time together as a family and that seems to be getting harder to accomplish all the time.
What other activity can offer back drops like the White Mountains,Niagara Falls or countless other places through out the world.
Please keep in mind no two people camp the same , so do not be afraid to develop your own family style(this is one area where being different can be real fun) I have been talking to several avid campers lately and they all seen to have their own twist on camping,which I find great with so much diversity it tough to be wrong!
Now the choice is entirely yours of what to do all I can recommend is that you educate yourself and go start making some memories. P.S. Remember most campgrounds don't get cell phone reception which means your kids might actually have to talk to you!(just a thought) From A security stand point I recommend you leave any pricey electronics home, Do you really want to worry about a laptop,Nintendo DS ect for the whole trip?

Do you want to save money?Your answer should be YES so I recommend giving a local state park a try. You will find that most state parks are a bargain, be prepared to trade off some amenities for the savings though.

When it comes to being open minded I have to admit I can be stubborn at times and the whole camping idea was no exception, After a couple of trips though I was convinced this was something that is completely worthwhile and fun to boot!
