Welcome to family travel for real people

Typically when you say family travel moms every where cringe since it usually means a lot of planning and head aches for them.

Your life does need to be this complicated........

Now is the time to get organized and plan your families next trip the easy and fun way! I have several different areas of this web site already set up to make the process more streamlined, faster and even fun

Your first step should be to get a notebook, binder Ect so you can keep all your information in one easy to find place.

The easiest details you need to plan are the most crucial, you will want to set in stone.....

  • The date(S)
  • The location
  • Budget
  • Means of travel

With these details locked down, make sure you can get the time in question off from your job, before making a reservation.

All done? Great!

Now on to the fun I promised you earlier. Finding a campground sometimes can be difficult, visit our Free campground directory to help find some of the campgrounds we have uncovered in New England that do not have a website of their own.

The perfect campsite the easy way

Finding the perfect campsite is not always easy , especially if you are trying to use a map online. My wife and I always call and make sure that our huge 18x12 tent will fit on the site we want to reserve.

tip
Knowing your gear is an powerful asset when choosing the right site.

Not sure how to choose the right site?

No sweat, relax and visit our campsite selection page for help with questions on what to look for.

We now are where most families will start to argue, what goes and what stays home. The adults rule here so stand your ground and tell it like it is.

The most important planning tip I can offer is.........

Travel light!, this sounds simple how ever how many times have your kids tried to take half their toys with them for a five minute trip to the local store?

I have several camping checklists ready for print to add to your planning materials. Family travel can be an adventure when the details are taken care of , so Prepare and enjoy.

You should be done with the big details by now

The rest of the planning details for your family travel plans really depend on how you think, your time line Ect so I have provided some useful Link below to help you continue the planning process.

To continue your family travel research I recommend visiting our kids camping page for some insight( also known as what am I getting myself into).
