The right Camping Equipment makes a difference

Let me ask you why do you think the correct camping equipment is important?
Do you like getting wet, cold or even going hungry? These may appear to be extremes however consider if you forget tarps to cover your tent what is going to happen?

Do you have the proper sleeping bags?

Do you have propane for your grill?

You can start to see the value of having the right tool and having it on hand to use.

Planning goes along way here look for gear that folds or breaks down for easy storage, being light weight is a major feature since you will be carrying all your gear from the car to your campsite.

Some first time campers may not realize some campground do not have parking directly on their sites so you could be hiking in a couple hundred yards with all your gear.

Stream line your searching

Since shopping can be time consuming I have decided to break the equipment area into specific area(s) so you can find answers about gear fast and easy. I would like to point out you do not need to go to places like LL Bean or other high end places if you are just starting out, how ever if long term use is a factor then consider buying name brand.

Once you have a feel for the essentials I would

suggest looking for companion camping equipment these items will bring value and added function to your core gear.

Companion gear can be a item as simple as A good coooler for your food so it doesn't spoil.

I think now is a good time to mention you will need to consider where you plan on storing your gear off season. I use high quality totes that seal tightly, this ensure all my gear is protected from pests and moisture.

One helpful tip here is try different colored totes, use each tote for a specific type of item for instance cooking, lanterns ect.

Once you gave all your gear I would suggest that you set up your tent, screen house and lanterns at home to make sure there are no problems, nothing ruins a trip faster than trouble with your essential gear.

A nice place to sleep

The most important item you can invest your budget in is your Tent you have to remember this is your living area and shelter from the elements.I Would also like to mention depending on your country certain colors may or may not be legal.

Remember when a tent states it a five, six or seven person this is not really working in room to move and space for the gear everyone will have with them.

I have gotten into the habit of checking all my Camping Equipment during the off season to make sure I am prepared for the next camping trip Doing this helps you budget money for some larger items so you don't have to spend a-lot all at once.

Finding the proper camping equipment is a breeze once you have some information and the right place to shop$1 shipping on any order of $99 or more at campingworld.com! Once you have a tent selected the next logical area to focus on is your Camping kitchen please take your time selecting your equipment choosing the wrong item can become a big problem.
